In flowline applications, especially in shallow water where tidal currents are strong and wave motions reach the seabed, flowlines require additional weight in order to ensure on-bottom stability (OBS). Airborne Oil and Gas has successfully performed a series of full scale qualification tests on carbon fibre TCP. It is our first carbon fibre product for the SURF market and also our first 10 ksi product at larger diameters and temperatures up to 80 Degrees C (176 F).
