We would like to congratulate Subsea 7 and IKM Testing for the successful completion of yet another pipeline pre-commissioning campaign offshore Norway. They use a 2.5 inch ID, 345 bar rated TCP Downline for pipeline pre-commissioning in about 1500 meter water depth.
Our TCP Downline is a full composite free hanging pipe, smooth and clean, that combines high internal and external pressure strength with a smooth bore and superior fatigue performance. The TCP Downline is qualified for hundreds of deployments, where steel coiled tubing – not clean – typically needs replacing every 5-10 deployments.
Together with the highly flexible TCP Jumper, the system can be used for pipeline pre-commissioning as well as subsea riserless well intervention.
