Last week, we were very honored to be asked by Evonik to present at their Oil & Gas symposium in Houston, Texas. In front of some of the leading experts in polymers, we presented an overview of our latest TCP material grade Carbon Fiber / Polyamide 12.
The presentation consisted of an in-depth look at our material selection, the process and tests included in the qualification program and how we did it. Followed by a summary of our first pipe delivery in this new material to the Gulf of Mexico.
We also discussed how important it is to work with all parts of the supply chain to achieve what in real terms is a fast-track qualification to delivery program. This included the raw-material suppliers to the end client, which was one of the most important factors in allowing this project to be the success it was.
