The Project Manager will join Airborne Oil & Gas, a leading manufacturer of Thermoplastic Composite Pipe for the offshore Oil & Gas Industry and will be based in IJmuiden, the Netherlands. The Project Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of projects, in time, in budget and to the client’s satisfaction. The Project Manager is responsible for all matters pertaining to the project, the execution of that project in accordance with the contract, the project's HSE, quality, schedule and financial goals. You will have responsibility for the financial and technical success of the project, all deliverables produced and is accountable to the internal or external client for the project team's performance. The project manager reports directly to the Head of Projects.
For this particular position, the Project Manager will be initially assigned to AOG’s riser development program and will act as the Project Manager for the material qualification, manufacturing development and pilot production. In this position the Project Manager will have to work closely with the Product Development Manager as well as the respective Vice President responsible for development of this new line of business. The riser development program consists multiple projects and technological step-ups and covers multiple years. The Project Manager reports to the Head of Projects.

Communication - excellent communication and networking skills to interact with clients, subcontractors, IVB’s, the project team, senior management and other project stakeholders.
Project Management – familiar with: contracts management, scope of work, project controls, project execution, procurement, risk management, financial management and the establishment and communication
Single point responsibility – overseeing; safety, budget, schedule, quality and technical integrity of the entire project scope.
Minimum of 5 years' experience as a (Engineering) Project Manager or Project Engineer in a complex technical environment
Knowledge and understanding of technologies used in subsea and offshore engineering is a strict requirement, experience in riser/flowline design and installation is considered a benefit
Good project management skills using leading methodologies and processes
Experienced in reviewing contractual documentation
A team player who is focused on getting results and who has strong analytical skills
Good command of the English language and preferably other languages
Excellent communication and networking skills to interact with peers, senior management, project managemet etc.
