About your job
With your knowledge and experience of mechanical testing, test equipment and instrumentation, you will ensure that our products and materials are tested against internal and customer requirements and in accordance with quality and HSE procedures.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Prepare and coordinate testing activities (qualification, functional and acceptance testing) with the team of test technicians. Ensure tests are completed on time and within budget.
  • Analyze test data and compile technical documentation, including test specifications, test reports and work instructions.
  • Coordinate and supervise tests performed at or subcontracted to external test facilities.
  • Identify, design and realize new test methods and equipment.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge within the team regarding test procedures, equipment, instrumentation and developments within the testing discipline.

  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Your team
The test team is integrated in the multidisciplinary department TCP Engineering and consists of Mechanical Test Engineers and Mechanical Test Technicians. The team has access to AOG’s own test facility, which includes equipment for high pressure burst and collapse testing and various mechanical test set-ups. Test Engineers report to the responsible team lead, while working in project teams and in close collaboration with other departments.

Control System Engineer (Specialist)

As Control System Engineer (Specialist) you guarantee the availability of our production installations and you are at the basis of modifications to the installations to improve the installation availability. You develop new, or you update exisiting production machines- and lines by adding functionallity or to expand existing functionalities. Based on your knowledge and experience you know how to quuickly resolve faults. You are responsible for the design and implementation of modifications to the (control) systems. 

Responsibilities
In this position you work closely with engineers, maintenance and production personnel and you report to the Team Lead Manufacturing Technology. You have a varied range of tasks, in which you are deployed both on troubleshooting and improvement. With regard to troubleshooting, you are responsible for solving faults on measuring instruments, PLC hardware, communication faults, disruptions to industrial PC's and HMI Systems. 

Skills and Experience 

  • 10+ years of experience on industrial automation and controls
    • NOT a software engineer, i.e., only programming experience (e.g., PLC)
  • Education and experience
    • Controls or Electrical engineering [Masters or PhD]
    • Factory/manufacturing/production experience is must

You are responsible for design and build of production tools, equipment and machinery. Supporting the maintenance organization in analyzing, solving and preventive actions on malfunctions. The Senior Mechanical Engineer ensures that the production lines run with the right balance between cost and stability. You will engineer a fit-for-purpose solution for the leads and tenders generated by the Sales department, while learning all the ins and outs of TCP design and its applications.

Main responsibilities

Perform engineering activities related to the bid and ensure engineering documents and proposals are delivered on time and within budget. This includes the design of the TCP and all related equipment and ancillaries. Main focus is on the design and analysis of a fit-for-purpose solution that balances product performance, project risks and costs. Compile technical documents for the bid, including reports, specifications, risk assessments, qualification plan and the technical proposal. Identify possibilities for improving the competitiveness of our products. Respond to technical queries and provide overall technical support to the Sales team. Report to the engineering team lead and to the tender / sales manager responsible for the project.

Skills and experience

Composite Production Engineer

About the job

You are responsible for the definition and control of the continues composite laminate production process that determine the quality of the product (TCP). The role of the Composite Material & Process Engineer ensures that the lines run with the right balance between efficiency (output) and with the right quality (product performance). As senior engineer you oversee all production processes and you take into consideration development work done in TCP design and (predictive) modelling and combine it to a unified strategy in composite material processing. It is an all-round function and requires global understanding of all the main engineering elements: process, equipment, controls and modelling. Furthermore, you have an understanding of statistical process control and the methods of Lean manufacturing.
 
Main responsibilities
  • Define and coordinate cost-effective manufacturing campaign plan (process phases)
  • Integration of model based (predictive) engineering into plan and execution
  • Define and maintain strategy and vision on development roadmap composite processing
  • Define composite material processing recipes and limits including hardware configuration selection
  • Continuously monitor the process, including Critical To Quality (CTQ) parameters
  • Data analysis and trending
  • NCR handling and reduction projects
